A year and a bit since I updated...

No new deviations from me right now - most of what I do is for Uni, so I'm not allowed to publish it for fear of "self plagiarism". It's hard to be casually creative when you have to focus on academic creativity the whole time.

Bit of news though, my room has finally been redone. Cleaned up, repainted, reorganized. All I need now is to wait for the deck company people to freakin' fix up my order. I've been waiting over a month for the right sized desk to be delivered, as per my original order. They've screwed it up 4 times already and even though I phone up every day, it just keeps taking longer. I can't even set up my second bookcase (first is already full) until the desk is in place.

My brother's doing well in his University, despite a certain someone breaking the supercomputer that I built and set up for him. Had to take it back, try and fix it, RMA it, then fix it up when it got back. Meanwhile he stole my tablet laptop, so Dad got me another one. I love this laptop - you can poke it! And draw on it! And it actually fits in my bag!

I've also recently started up a small business. From the time I got my Xbox 360 (so now I've got every console except PS3), I did a lot of research on the subject, and today I've now got a total of 9 Xbox360s with 2 more on the way. Why you ask? It's because I got them cheap! Well, they WERE broken, but I fixed them up nice and new, so now they're ready to be sold on! What cost me £25 to buy and fix, I can sell for £70-100!

The only problem is that I need to find people to buy them in the first place. I've spread the words to friends and people I know at University, but for the 7 I have to sell (1 could not be fixed, but the parts fixed 3 others), only 1 person will definately buy and 5 others have shown "interest". Interest is all well and good, but that doesn't put cash in my pocket! I need that cash to buy more to sell more to repay my student loans!!!

Oh, and the MCM London Expo is this weekend. I cosplayed as Death Rebel Ikuto (Shugo Chara, by Peach Pit) last time, but haven't had time to do anything for this one. Ah well, I can still bask in geekjoy at meeting more of my kin - cross-breeds between people and anime/game variants.

EDIT: If you want a cheap refurbished Xbox360 garanteed to work (after all, I fixed them and stress tested them myself), EMAIL ME PLOX!!! I want to sell these on!
